What we do
iNet member churches are involved in a variety of cross-cultural activities and much of what they do is with and through iNet. We prepare, send and support people in work overseas as well as working cross-culturally in London.
We do the following:
• Provide support to workers (through pastoral care, conference, prayer, appraisals, debriefing, advice, ongoing training and mission issues)
• Link with churches (through regular meetings, talks, meetings, DVDs, flyers, web site etc)
• Develop links with new churches
• Recruit, train, develop and prepare new workers
• Link with other agencies (e.g. XLP, Global Connections)
• Work on joint initiatives (e.g. Turkey and Turks in London)
• Develop iNet (especially working with young people, gap year, and short term teams)
• Provide admin, financial, policy and legal back up
